She's Baaackkk!

So I was watching the recent new episodes of My Little Pony, especially the "Hurricane Fluttershy". I noticed that one particular pony appeared...

Derpy was right there, with her eyes crossed! I was so happy! She didn't say a word nor any of the characters said a thing to her or about her, but she was there! Like she was intended to! And like she was before in the show.

But just because she's back, doesn't mean I'm finished with this campaign. I think this should keep going on as long as there are problems in this world, no?

But for now, let's just celebrate Derpy's long-awaited return! HAVE MUFFINS!

Wear a Hoodie around this week!

So recently this kid from Florida got shot by this neighborhood watchman. The guy followed him and shot him, AFTER being told by police not to follow him. He called the police because he was "suspicious" of the teen walking around. The teen was just walking home from his Dad's house and just taking a shortcut. The neighbors are defending him because he was defending himself. But people think otherwise. Thousand of people are walking out protesting on this injustice.

To protest for this even if you or I live far from NYC, wear a hoodie to protest!

KONY 2012

So Derpy and I were at school this week and before our sociology class, some classmates called us over to see this video on youtube. It was called "KONY 2012" Its a film made by InvisibleChildren Inc. KONY 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice.

Now I know I heard of them before, but I didn't know what they were about. But after watching this video... I knew we have to stop this man.

So today, Derpy and I want you to help. Spread the word, share this video on your twitter and facebook. In hopes that all our hard work and our well connected social networks can bring this man to justice.

Save these kids! Make the world a better place for everypony! KONY 2012~ FTW!

Be a Hero... again! HAVE A MUFFIN!

Mother Nature is calling, she wants her earth back.

So let's start off our organization right!

Derpy wants you to save Mother Earth!

So recently the movie, "The Lorax" came out at theaters all over america last Friday. The movie is based on the book, "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss, who just celebrated his 106th birthday this past March 2nd. I rarely like movies that are based on old books or cartoons, but this one I kinda want to see. It really sends a good message to children, "Save our earth, it's our only one. And it can disappear quickly, if not careful."

They really seem to be using this lesson as promotional use, too. I recently went to Ihop with my family and they were giving out Green eggs and ham (Spinach eggs and regular ham, so good!) and they gave me this little paper when we left. It said, "Save the earth!" and it had the picture of the Lorax and his friends and on top of the tree, it had this little paper thing stuck to it. Supposedly it has seeds in it, you're suppose to soak the seeds for 24 hours then plant them. Sadly as much as I would like a tree, my backyard is very barren. xD

So in tribute to Dr. Seuss, The Lorax and Mother Nature, SAVE THE EARTH!

There's various of ways to do this:

-Plant trees
-Grow your own vegetable garden
-Plant flowers
-Recycle

Do anything that can help the earth!

Have an awesome Derpy day!

What we are all about!

What we are about:

History

The My little Pony show has been around for decades but recently re-made and became famous on the internet. It started a following known as "The Bronies". This group is made up of adult men and women who love the show for what it is. Which is teaching children about love and tolerance. Which is what they are all about.

One of the ponies in the show became something special for the bronies. Her name was Derpy, a fan-name. The reason for her name was because of her eyes, which were cross-eyed and looked silly. The definition for Derp means: A mistake, a brain fart, an oops. Or it can mean Silly, clumsy or klutz. This definition can vary, since this is an internet slang and not a true word. They were a mistake from the animators who noticed a tad bit late. But the fans loved her. She became such a fan-favorite that soon she became to come out from being a background character and had her own personality. She was suppose to be a "Where's Waldo?" character but because they knew it she appeared more. Then one day, she talked. That was a good indication for the Bronies that the Hub knew about them and enjoyed their fandom. But sadly, this was gone after a while. The Hub decided to get rid of Derpy. They got rid of her eyes, voice and name, which went back to her original name, Ditzy Doo. Why? Because the company received angry emails about her. Saying that "They were making fun of people with disabilities." The creators and the Bronies didn't do this intentionally. Rather, it was a nickname. They loved her so much because she is what she is.

Our Mission

Derpy should be thought as something deeper. She looks and acts different and yet people love her. My little pony is about love and tolerance, what better way to teach children this than Derpy? One thing that both adults and children should learn: We should accept people that are different, and we should love them and ourselves.

Derpy is herself and people love her, children can learn from her to love themselves and treat others well, no matter how different they are.

In this world, children are being bullied for being different, for being disabled, gay, race, etc. Children can't defend themselves at all, so who can help them?

That's why Derpy is a good character to promote love and tolerance. Our mission is work together and work to make the world a better place for every child, no matter how different, they will always be love for them.

Smile! Have a Muffin!
